Then along came ready to wear; And rejoice, we could now by lovely pieces inspired by the couture genuises. In time, ready to wear gave birth to fast fashion which begat disposable fashion. Now it's possible to go into your local Target store and buy a $29.99 designer frock and pick up a bag of litter for FiFi at the same time http://www.target.com/
I was recently in a Forever 21 Store, and I was amazed at the styles and fashions that actually channeled the couture runways. The buyers/designers at Forever 21 are right on Target.... Affordable trends for the fashionista.
