Don't miss NYC & Company's seventh annual Culture Fest, a free celebration of the City's magnificent and diverse cultural offerings, on Saturday and Sunday, October 13 and 14. More than 125 cultural organizations come together at Battery Park to share the magic of the upcoming season with you. This spectacular festival of music, art, dance, hands-on activities, entertainment and food is your once-a-year opportunity to discover all of New York City culture—and a chance to plan your personal arts calendar for the months ahead. Fans of the Madeline books and owners of fancy dresses, take note: Just down from the Met and the Guggenheim is a classy spot for a proper, three-tiered tea, held in a room adorned with fanciful murals painted by picture book illustrator-author Ludwig Bemelmans. There, a kid can feel like the glamorous NYC tot she (or he) is, while digging into treats such as petite banana splits “Fontainbleau,” cupcakes and scones. Reservations are required. Ages 3 to 12.

During a trip to the picturesque snow-capped mountains of Colorado, eight married college friends have gathered for their annual seven-day reunion. But the cozy mood is shattered when the group comes face-to-face with one pair’s infidelity. As secrets are revealed, each couple begins questioning the validity of their own marriage. Over the course of the weekend, husbands and wives take a hard look at their lives, wrestling with issues of commitment, betrayal and forgiveness as they seek a way forward.
