Favorite Things.....
After a long day of shopping or an outing with my babies, I just curl up on my chaise and (usually with my laptop/favorite fashion magazine nearby) and indulge in a "spot of tea".
There's nothing more ladylike than a tea set. Next to shopping and writing, Tea is one of my favorite past times. At the boutique, I serve my customers tea and scones throughout the year. They are often amazed that their "treats" are placed on dessert plates and their tea is being delivered via an authentic Tea Set, (I can't imagine tea in a paper cup........).
My 6 year old daughter and I enjoy tea in her "porcelain heirloom" set courtesy of Barbie or we visit The Carlyle Hotel or The American Girl Cafe in New York City for Afternoon Tea. These are some of our most memorable mother-daughter moments.....
