Fashion Hits & Misses.....

It's been minute since we posted a fashion faux pas, as I turned on my laptop this morning I couldn't help but wonder what some celebrities were thinking when they hit the red carpets this week. Are the stylist on strike or has fashion since taken a hiatus for Spring? All in all, we at Tres Chic Style promise to deliver you the Best & Worst of Fashion.....(Brace Yourselves)

First up, Miss Beyonce..... Okay we have all heard the rumors by now, whether it be fact or fiction regarding her wedding to Jay Z. Could someone please tell "B" the gloves cannot be worn with everything. She's been sported them before and was even caught hiding her hands at other events. Enough already! To make matters worse she sported support hose with some hideous platform heels to a 40/40 Event. And did you peep the disco bag!!!! It actually looks like Solange styled this atrocity with a lil' help from Miss Tina's creole flavor.......

Thank the fashion heavens for her wonderful choice of frocks at the Superheroes Fashion & Fantasy Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art the other night. Geesh Beyonce, you had us worried there for a moment! And look there she goes hiding those hands again.......

Can the real Mary J. Blige stand up!!!! While we love that Mary decided to be the "Belle of the Ball", we wished she would have stayed true to her signature style versus this image engineered by her stylist. Mary is known for her experimentation with color and this "Oscar Extra", just didn't do it for me.....

This lady's always in control..... Miss Janet looked fabulous at the the Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. With a sleek chignon and minimal bling, she looked totally fab.....

Not many fashionistas could pull this look off, but our resident Fashionista and fantasy BFF Kimora Lee Simmons manages to pull off this colorful geometric ensemble with grace, style and her signature Fabulosity......

We guess Tichina missed our earlier post, Hats, Kentucky Derby Style ....Tichina had the audacity to sport this headpiece to the 134th running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky this past Saturday. Question....Is it hat or a hair piece,??? Whatever she chooses to call it, I call it plain ugly! This look should be reserved for the Detroit Hair Show.....
