Hats, Kentucky Derby Style....

The 134th running of the Kentucky Derby will take place on May 3, 2008 and hat lover's everywhere will revel in the pristine headwear that will adorn many of the Derby's patrons.

Kentucky Derby hats are a tradition dating back over 100 years. Southern Belles, Celebrities and socialites decend on the Downs in the most lavish creations ever created.

While I'm not an avid fan of the races, I do enjoy any event where fashion takes center stage. Here's a look at some Kentucky Derby fashion.....

Star Jones in all her quinessesntial glory donned this canary yellow wide brim sun hat for the 133rd run last year. A patron of the races, Star is known to attend all gala events leading up to the races as well as the coveted Winner's Circle.

Gabrielle Union & Shaun Robinson hit the downs in some chic couture-inspired creations...
