Fashion Indie Week launches this Monday September 1, 2008 as a prelude to the Bryant Park Tents (September 5-12) and Brooklyn Fashion Weekend (October 3-5).
On Tuesday, the landmark’s walkway will be transformed into a fashion runway to mark the start of the borough’s underground designer celebration, which runs through Sept. 7.
Models will begin walking from the Brooklyn side of the bridge at 6 p.m. and should reach Manhattan at around 6:50 p.m.
