Chic Happenings... Summer Ramblings & What Nots...

I'll be the first to admit it... I am soooo not ready for another lockdown!

After being locked in the house for the better part of 2020 I am enjoying my summer being spent Alive & Outside!

Day To Day In The Chic Life....

Brunch dates have long been a fave and while I can nosh with a crew, I am perfectly fine dining all by my fabulous self. I create and control my experiences and this summer there have been LOT'S of them. From beach to pool side romps I feel like I live in a swimsuit. Entrepreneurship affords me the opportunity to work whenever, however and wherever I choose. Needless to say my frequent flyer miles have definitely received quite the work out these days. 

On The Style Side....

The daily style file has included a bevy of flirty summer dresses, pops of color and some pretty amazing accessories that dazzle and deliver pure delight. I've never been the jeans and sneakers girl *cringes inside*, but these days cute jeans and a white tank (with my heels of course) provides a basic wardrobe foundation that can be instantly transformed with a hat, a sassy clutch and yes, a RED lip. 

I have a love/hate relationship with red lipstick. When I was kid I can remember it making me feel like a clown or as my Grandma Newt used to call it "Street Walker Colors".  As an adult I slowly and reluctantly embraced the vibrant hue and have learned to  play it up from time to time.
