Chic Ramblings, Happenings & What Nots...

The Tres Chic Style brand has always been personal for me. It began with my passion for style and the belief that how we present ourselves tells a story before we ever say a word. But style has never been the only part of my story. 

As a communications professional, founder of Holland Group Public Relations, an award-winning journalist, philanthropist, on-air talent, and a community advocate, I firmly believe in the mantra of allowing my work to "Speak for Me". For years, I treated these parts of my life as separate lanes. Now, I'm finally coming to the realization that they are all connected by the same things, communication, influence and the courage to show up fully and with zero apologies. 

I've made the decision to transform Tres Chic Style into a digital media portal that reflects the whole of who I am and the work I care about. And YES... there will still be fashion, personal style and honest conversations about confidence, image and how we show up in the world. However, you'll also have an opportunity to see more of my work through Holland Group PR, including public relations insight, brand strategy, storytelling and the lessons I have learned while helping people and organizations communicate with purpose.

At the new Tres Chic Style, you'll also be delivered a glimpse into my continued commitment to community and voter advocacy. I believe civic engagement belongs in our everyday conversations. Understanding what is happening in our communities is just as important as understanding what looks good in our closets. We can appreciate beauty, enjoy culture, build businesses and still hold our leaders accountable.

None of these interests compete with one another. Together, they tell the complete story of who I am. Tres Chic Style is becoming a space where style meets substance. It is where personal presentation, professional experience and community responsibility can exist in the same conversation. It will be thoughtful, stylish, honest and unmistakably Kishana.

I'm ridiculously excited about this next chapter because I am no longer trying to separate the woman who loves fashion from the public relations professional or the advocate who cares deeply about voters and community. I am bringing her all to the table.
